Planet earth is at the edge of the Milky Way galaxy. But Milky Way is not the only galaxy in The Universe. Moreover, we do not know even a small part of our galaxy, and do not know anything about the universe, about his majesty and complexity. Therefore we can divide The Universe into two parts: one that we know it, and it is extremely small, and second: the unknown part, which is extremely huge.
The fact that we not know something, we do not understand something, does not mean it does not exist. And also the fact that SF films see all sorts of other beings, does not mean that it is really.
Are we alone in the universe?
Has tried to answer this question: scientists, philosophers, theologians, and many more others. For this purpose were made scientific laboratories, observatories, have sent all sorts of signals in space - and nothing. No evidence of the existence of aliens. From a scientific standpoint - it looks like we're alone.
Logic?
Logic tells us that we may not be alone. From many millions of other solar systems, there are no other planets with life? What makes us so special that we are unique? There is a creator God of all and everything? And if so, then He would not have created other worlds too?
