Tick-tock goes the clock, is a poem from Doctor who, in The Wedding of River Song.
We live in a universe three-dimensional plus time, where time is itself a dimension,
a dimension related (sealed) of space. For us, time flows, following a continuous path, but for anyone outside of our dimension, time is static, simultaneously, such as pages from a book.
We can say that time is both continuous and static, depends only the size of which is seen. For us it is continuous, for outsiders is static, everything happening at once.
So, what show time? Biological time, cosmic time, something artificial, what?

It's very possible like the time to not be only linear.
