How to make cherry jam in easy way?

The rule of thumb is to 1Kg 2Kg sour sugar
Wash cherries, remove pits, and place in a saucepan, two - three rows of Visia, then cover with sugar. Not much sugar, just until no longer see cherry. Then other times of cherry, another sugar, and so on. Allow an hour or two, then sit at the fire to melt the sugar.

Then let the heat and stir occasionally to avoid sticking. Somewhat strengthened when composition stops the fire, the foam, and leave to cool. When cooled resulting paste (jam) put in jars. Optionally, put a slice of lemon on top.
To hold for long periods of time:
Boil jars in a bain-marie (ie in a large saucepan put water on the fire, the fire small. Place here jam jars and boil in water until it creates a crust over them).
The oven can also be used for this. The jars are placed in a tray and place in oven with low heat until it creates a hard crust on top.
Another method is that as soon as I put mixture (jam) in jars and put them to overthrow jar lid upside down for a few minutes. But this process is not the safest.
The last thing we have to do it is to Cover the jars and store them in a safe place.
